We've still been catching alot of big Trout and Redfish since my last report.The topwater action is still on fire ,but we have had alot of problems with all the floating grass.To solve this problem I have been fishing Gulp Jerk Shads on a Gamakasu worm hook rigged Texas style and Capt. Mikes Flats Candy floating jigheads rigged with a Gulp Jerk Shad.Both of these can be worked like a topwater lure and are about as weedless as you can get.Later in the day I have been switching to spoons both Capt.Mikes and the Johnson Silver Minnow (black) and have done really well on the Redfish.In between the Reds and Trout there are lots of Ladyfish ,Bluefish ,Jacks and a few Tarpon.Remember to take it easy on the sea grass without it we would not have the fishery we are blessed to have.
